Cave rescue Go to top

In Serbia we do not have organized cave rescue, compareable to those in countries where caving is well developped. Currently, with the aid from foreign cave rescue organizations, cavers from clubs members of SSOS are creating the core of our future cave rescue. Besides that, the Mountaineering Association of Serbia has a Mountain Rescue Squad external link, with the equipement and some training for cave rescue.

Cave diving Go to top

Each caving club in Serbia has at least one cave diver. The most experienced cave diver is Serbia is the caver Aleksandar Milosavljević - Ceca (previously in SOB, now in Aquamont external link), while the cave diving depth record (Krupajsko vrelo, -112m) is held by divers from diving club Triton-AST external link.
